A severe competition (Bigbang vs. TVXQ vs. WG vs. Rain(bi))

IN Korea, a lot of famous musicians such as TVXQ, Wonder Girls, Rain(bi), Brown Eyed Girls have come back or will come back soon.

First of all, there is Big Bang, and they are doing extremely well right now. TVXQ and Big Bang have formed a rival relationship because they are both idols and 5 members and are/were at the top.

Since Big Bang is still performing even after TVXQ comes back, people are gonna see which group is the top of Korean male idol groups.

In addition, Wonder Girls, Seeya, Girls' Generation, and Brown Eyed Girls will compete each other as well.

Brown Eyed Girls have already made their performances, and Wonder Girls will perform on this weekend. Soon enough, Seeya and Girls' Generation will add the level of competition.

The interesting point will be Brown Eyed Girls and Wonder Girls because both have the same music style.

Lastly, Rain is coming back. Before, JYP(Park Jin Young) has claimed that Rain has not made any musical success. Rain responded to this comment by saying that he will make a success by doing his music.

The rest of year will be harsh for Korean music groups...

I hope all of them do well... but there always will be losers and winners.

Wonder Girls' Nobody on

Click here for the post on

Perezhilton has uploaded Wonder Girls' new music video, NOBODY.

Under the title of 'How the Koreans do it', he comments that he likes it and actually explains when the actual music starts. (2:00)

Sadly, many people are putting up discriminated comments about Koreans, but some do not!

Thanks to Perez for putting this music video up! It surely spreads out Korean Pop around the world.

-Dokdo Ad on WP-We are moving to get the truth back from the World!

This is the Advertisement that over 94000 Korean people on Internet have gained to publish on the Washington Post.

Its main title is "STOP DISTORTING HISTORY" and is supposed to catch readers' sights while reading the WP.

It uses a repetitious word of 'someone' to help people remember the Ad longer.

At the end, it introduces Seo Kyung-duk's website: to find more information about Dokdo-Takeshima conflict.

Personally, I think that this ad appeals better in ways of expressing seriousness of the matter.

I hope that one day, there is no need to fight over something that cannot be argued such as this dispute over Dokdo.

All the historical documents prove that Dokdo is Korean territory. Japan should acknowledge this incontrovertible fact and act as the second largest of world's economy leading country.

Younha's New Album has been released

Younha has brought us her new album--'SOMEDAY'
She said she put lots lots and lots of effort in this album.
She also mentioned that she faced her limits a lot when making this album, because of her bright and lively vocal skills.

Such as in the song called "Memory (ft. Tablo)", she sounds so sad. I imagine her trying so hard to make sad voices when singing this song. ^^

She looks tough now, much different than the first album concept.

Here's the tracklist.

-- Track List --
1. Hero
2. Someday
3. Telepathy
4. Strawberry Days
5. Memory(feat. Tablo)- Rap Mix
6. Rain & The Bar
7. The sound of raining
8. Rainbow
9. Best Friend
10. For Catharina
11. Hate
12. Gossip Boy
13. Don't cry
14. - Original Mix
15. My Song and...
16. Telepathy (Instrumental)
17. Regret (Instrumental)

Samsung's Haptic phone - Good or bad?

Source from

Haptic Phone or W420 series in South Korea, has been the spotlight in the cell phone market.

Before it came out, there was a great amount of interest about this Haptic phone among many people.

After it came out, these people have divided into two opinions: Haptic phone is good or bad. People who think it is bad consider that haptic's price which is over $700 in U.S. dollars is too expensive.

Key speculations are:

2 Mega pixel camera

Video call

3.2 inches QGVA LCD

Micro SD

Full Browsing Internet

EQ selections

Weight: 108g

Color: Black

This is the video that shows User Interface for Haptic phone.

In my opinion, Haptic is fun to use with. What I mean by that is, it has a bit different system of touching screen, which is Haptic technology.

Therefore, I wanna say that Haptic is good regardless of other minor flaws.

JYP's New Boy Band Group - 2PM

This is JYP's new boys' group - 2PM. Their teaser (M/V) as above, is called "10 out of 10". It is a catchy dance song. It is pretty funny that JYP has published a group named '2AM' and now he announces 2PM. I hope they don't compete each other like 2PM vs. 2AM. JYP said that if 2AM is about balld and slow songs, 2PM is about dance and rap. I think the group names make sense, at 2PM, people can excite and enjoy dance songs and 2AM, they can listen to slow songs to go to bed or meditate.

Anyways, there are 7 members in this group and they are:

Park Jae Bum : rapper/vocalist
Ok Taek Yeon : rapper
Kim Jun Su : vocalist/rapper
Lee Jun Ho : vocalist/rapper
Nichkhun Horvejkul : vocalist
Jang Woo Young : rapper/vocalist
Hwang Chan Sung : rapper

Interestingly, Nichkhun Horvejkul is Thai. He was born in America and moved to Thailand at the age of 2. I saw him on Ya Shim Man Man Season 2 on SBS, and his Korean was not that good, but I saw that he is trying hard. I hope good luck to him.

Their debut date is September 4th.

A new challenge - BoA is going to USA

BoA is apparently going to a broad music market, the U.S. music market at the age of 22.(in Korean way, 21)

There was news that SM entertainment (this is where Boa belongs to) has opened SM USA and it will give many opportunities to their people to enter the U.S. market.

Obviously, BoA was considered to be the number one person among them and here the news is issued.

Boa has made a tremendous success in Japan and many parts of Asia countries.

I'm really proud of her and hope that she does great job in North America!
Good Luck!

Wonder Girls' New Music Video Concept?

This picture is a big issue from South Korean net users (netizens). Many people guess this as a new concept for Wonder Girls' new music video.

JYP entertainment said that they do not know where the picture is outflowed.

However, many Korean net users believe that JYP intentionally outflowed this picture to get interest from people.

Still, we do not know which is the truth.

JYP's 2AM - I wish them a big success!

It is a group of 4 men. As you know, Jo Kwon is the oldest trainee in JYP as like Sun Ye in Wonder Girls. Other three members are: Im Seulong, Jung Jinwoon and Lee Changmin.

JYP has debuted 2AM and then will debut 2PM. There is a rumor that he will make a 11 boys group with 2AM and 2PM.

Since most of them have long experience as trainees, I wish them to make a big success!

In this music video, Jo Kwon cries because he had a flash of his past life on practicing real hard.
